Friday i showed the FIRST TIME to SOMEONE

Friday i showed the business to someone for the first time. It was a great...well even a wonderful experience. We had a great time talking about FHTM. And we had a great time catching up with each others lives. I came away with the feeling that this is definitely what i want to be doing with my life. This is what i did...I have a copy of Todd Rowland's presentation. Popped it into my laptop and let Todd present the business to my friend. It was that easy. Im confident that this is the way to establish my 3 reps and 7 loyal customers. I get tongue-tied so this makes it easy for me. This is great because there is not always wireless...so this makes it convenient. Also, you can just pop a DVD into someones TV. Either way it is a winner. Thanks Bill Harloff for giving these to us. :) PS Everyone have fun at the convention. I plan to go next year. :)

BLOGGING with the BEST of FHTM

I want to thank Victoria for having this website on her blog. I found it very informative. I had heard about it but hadnt explored it before. It is the comprehensive training one: http://fhtmcomprehensivetraining.com/?3cf96fb0 .
I found information that helped me know more about the company and showed me where i could get more helpful videos for training. Kudos to Victoria for having it on her blog and for all the interesting blogs she has done. It makes me feel so excited and good to hear from those others in our own group.Your blogs and testimonies are so encouraging.

FHTM Comprehensive Training

When we have a back-up plan it makes things more enjoyable. We like surprises as we get older we dont want ones that frighten us. We like less surprises/fear and more consistency of peace. Once we attain that deep peace we move to make the things in our lives move with that peace and joy in the little things. I love having a lot of training in what i am doing and what i am about. FHTM Comprehensive Training makes it so that i can understand and not have the surprises that would adversely affect my life. When you are trained, then you know how to proceed and plan. Tomorrow is another day and it is a day of peace and joy.

Helping Hands

It's impressive how much a group of people can achieve when they work together. Maybe that is what makes America great. We work together and we create a lot. Several years ago i found this info fascinating. If you took a clydesdale horse and hooked him up to a yoke, he could pull a thousand pounds. But, if you hooked two clydesdale horses to a yoke they could pull two thousand
pounds....Nooooo...LOL...they could pull ten thousand pounds. When i try to work on a project by myself i do all right, but when another person works with me we get so much more accomplished. That's why i like working with a group of people. Tonight as our FHTM group got together, i could see how our working together to make suggestions, etc. makes us better at what we are doing.

Last Tuesday Night With Todd Rowland and Jack Cotten

(I did have a hard day last week as i left the word "Day" out of the title. Sorry folks!! :)

We were very blessed to have Todd Rowland and Jack Cotten to speak to us last Tuesday night here in Raleigh at the Brownstone Hotel. They gave very down-to-earth and helpful instruction and encouragement. Lee Flack (sp?) shared on how he was able to successfully work in the FHTM business. It was very helpful.
Todd shared some really good points. One of them being that "we have more power with our websites then Circuit City had with their storefront". I believe i quoted him right. That really made you think. Wow! I am making a difference. Also, he shared about how the President
of Dish Network was so impressed with our business that he went to Lexington, KY himself to meet Paul Oberson and to sign up with us.
Jack Cotten spoke on the principle of sowing seed and the rest was up to God. Also, that if people aren't interested or reject the business, it is not a reflection on we the presenters.
At our Monday night training meeting, Bill Harloff spoke on "Go for NO". The concept being that if people keep saying no to us, then we should embrace "No". Look for "No". Then when a "YES" occurs we will be pleasantly blessed. That way we are not disappointed and cast down with the "NOs". Great concept and we should use that in our everyday lives. Sometimes, others just don't want what we've got at least for the moment. Right?

Well, for those who are interested. The cars are basically fixed. Thanks to Joseph our mechanic (who by-the-way will come to work on your car where you are within reason). I did a little bit as well. Yes, folks the secret is out. I like to do "handeman" stuff. My most recent conquest has been putting in spark plugs, wires, and maybe a distributor cap and rotor only on older easy car engines. I even taught my daughter how to change her oil on Thursday morning, then made fig preserves and canned them. She wasnt interested in helping with the canning at that moment. Tonight i have to sheetrock an area at our sons' condo, while dad works on fixing the virus on our sons'computer. :) I am pretty tired now and have to be careful not to get too over tired. And soo...life goes on. :)

AFTER A HARD OF JUST LIFE

After a hard day of just LIFE... my husband calls and says that he is on his way home and the brakes have given out on his car. I'm on my way to an FHTM meeting and dont know whether to go help rescue him or wait and see what happens. So while i am in the meeting waiting for him to call me, i just try to rest in my spirit and pay attention to Bill Harloffs wonderful training speech. Finally, i call him and he says now his car has cut off and a guy is going to help push his car off the busy street he is on. My husband says he will call me in a few minutes when he figures out what to do. Well, i go back into the meeting to TRY to glean some more helpful info and pretty soon i realize that my husband has had quite enough time for "whatever". So i call his cell and then i call home. HE'S HOME....
Hallelujah. Well, now i can truely rest and enjoy the rest of the"show". I am learning to "rest". Jesus tells us to rest and trust Him. Jesus, you are right. Well, my husband later tells me that as quickly as everything went out, it all started working again. Sounds like an electrical problem to me. Anybody out there have any suggestions? :)

I am so sorry!!!!

Yesterday, when i went on my FaceBook, i clicked on what i thought was a friends video and all of a sudden the Koobface Worm started off and running. I thought that it was going to crash my computer. Fortunately, it was considered a vary low-risk virus, but it sure didnt feel like it, especially since i dont know a whole lot about computers. Finally with much coaching i was able to get out from under that bug but i sure dont want it to ever happen again to me or anyone else. Please forgive me if you were affected by my doing that. A friend thought i had purposely sent an offending video to her and it was by her name that i had clicked on the video in the first place. That evil thing would have had us blaming each other if we didnt know that neither one of us would ever have sent something like that. One great lesson out of all this is that we need to trust and know each other so in times of trouble we can trust each other and help each other. In fact, i have always found FaceBook to be a blessing in that it let me feel like i was able to be in my friends living room with them enjoying a cup of coffee and visiting without having to leave my alternate schedule. Another thing that was a blessing was that it made me have to get my anti-virus updated. There might be a worse virus out there that now i wont have to deal with since i dealt with this lesser virus. I hope and trust all my friends are fine and out of the woods.

New FACEBOOK SITE

Tonight i began my first Group site. It is SERRELL'S FHTM GROUP (just click on it :) And it was fun to make but it wasnt as fun as making this blog site. There werent enough bells and whistles to work with. So it may look pretty dull but go to it anyway as it probably is a lot more interactive. You can put your pictures and thoughts and videos etc. Please nothing unseamly as a joke. Well i am tired tonight so no long exciting insights.

However, before ending i must comment on last nights evening with Paul Oberson. He seems to be a very nice man with a lot on the ball :) and i may be speaking with him soon, as i want to know how he dealt his cancer diagnosis and what he did with all those great ingredients and how he used them. So stay tuned. And good night and remember that tomorrow morning is your opportunity to see a new side of everything and always try to, even the bad stuff.

"Cancer Doesn't Scare Me Anymore"

"Cancer doesnt scare me anymore" is a quote and i believe a book by Dr. Lorraine Day who has an incredible business helping people realize there are other ways to accomplish the "impossible" health-wise. I just learned the creator of FHTM was also diagnosed with cancer several years ago and hired a scientist or scientists to develop products and now he is cancer free. We hear the words "CANCER" and we freak-out. We find out a friend has been diagnosed with it and we immediately assume the worst for that friend. I have been on a high-alkaline-low-acid diet and regime of sun and exercize and breathing fresh air and rest and low stress, etc. using Dr. Lorraine Day's advice. This has worked for me. Hey, the cancer was diagnosed for being in locations that i didn't even know i had. They wanted to assign me to have a port put in the next week after my first surgeon visit,so he could administer the drugs i would need to kill it. That was one appointment i never kept. Recently, friends have told me they wished they hadn't kept their appointments. Well, folks, cancer is a very personal thing and the way each person handles it is just as personal. But, there are ways out there that don't include the norm. Each person has their time to die and for me i decided that i would do whatever it took to go the way i went letting Jesus show me each step. Jesus has walked with me or carried me through the often lonesome valleys. However,at this point two and a half years later, i have no regrets. Hey, i could die tomorrow, but who couldnt? I feel like i am about halfway up the mountain at this point in time. I really feel good actually better than before all this started. :)

Now my next hurtle is financial and i believe that is where FHTM comes in as soon as my website is set up i will point you to that in the meantime go to the different places around this blog to learn more about FHTM and then if you are interested in joining either to be a member or to be a loyal customer i should have my website on this blog by tomorrow Monday August 3,2009. Until then have an awesome day--this day was made especially for you by God for your joy and blessing.
